BALLSTON SPA - New York State Trooper Kevin McMahon was recently assigned to serve as the school resource officer for the Ballston Spa Central School Dis trict.
The program is administered by the State Police as an approach to school safety issues, providing school districts with a police presence on campus and implementing safety programming in the schools.
"Officer McMahon will be a welcome addition to our school district and will be a part of the districtwide team to enhance stu dent safety and security in all of our facilities," Director of Facilities and Security Ed Martin said.
