Qld: Funeral for Caitlin Hanrick tomorrow
Schoolmates .. friends and family will gather today to farewell 13-year-old CAITLIN
HANRICK .. who was hit and killed by a car during a police chase north of Brisbane.
The accident happened on Monday last week .. when CAITLIN was on a pedestrian crossing
outside Redcliffe State High School.
She was rushed to hospital .. but died the next day from head and internal injuries.
A 19-year-old woman has been charged over the death and remanded in custody.
CAITLIN's funeral will be held at the Christian Outreach Centre at 10.30 this morning
.. in Elizabeth Avenue at Clontarf.
The Queensland government's said it will build an underpass or overpass at every school
with a campus divided by a main road.
But Premier PETER BEATTIE says the process of checking with local communities to decide
the most suitable option for each school .. could take up to nine months.
